The Corry Area School District has the following positions available for the 2024-2025 school year:
The District is looking for one Secondary School Counselor, effective immediately, for the Corry Area High School.  The Individual must hold a valid Pennsylvania Certification for Specialist – Elementary & Secondary School Counselor PK-12.

Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of ASCA School Counseling Model
Knowledge of Pennsylvania Career and Work Standards
School counseling experience at the secondary school level

Interested candidates should submit a letter of interest, current resume, 3 letters of recommendation and
college transcripts. The selected candidate must also be able to obtain Act 34 - PA State Police Criminal
Record Check, Act 151 - PA Child Abuse History Clearance, and Act 114 - FBI Criminal History Record;
as well as proof of Mandated Reporter training.

Application Procedures
Teachers
In order for interested teaching applicants to receive full consideration for employment and qualify for a personal interview, a completed Corry Area School District Application Packet that includes the following credentials is required:
  • Letter of interest and resume
  • Completed/Signed PA Standard Teaching Application
  • Minimum of three (3) letters of reference
  • If selected, candidates must also be able to obtain Act 34 - PA State Police Criminal Record Check, Act 151 - PA Child Abuse History Clearance, and Act 114 - FBI Criminal History Record; as well as proof of Mandated Reporter training.

Support Personnel
Persons interested in Support Personnel positions (Cafeteria, Custodian, Secretary, Para-professional/Teacher Aide) who wish to have an application on file to be considered for employment must submit the following information:
  • Corry Area School District Support Personnel Application
  • If selected, candidates must also be able to obtain Act 34 - PA State Police Criminal Record Check, Act 151 - PA Child Abuse History Clearance, and Act 114 - FBI Criminal History Record; as well as proof of Mandated Reporter training.

Substitute Teachers, Support and Service Personnel
